Thrifty Thursday

I'm Late! I'm Late! I should have already had this post done! Why am I late you ask? I slept in this morning for one thing - it was raining and gloomy, so turned over and kept on snoozing. Also, been surfing thru other peoples' blogs to see what is going on out there. :-) A few minutes ago, I realized I was sitting here with one shoe on and one off. Got side tracked and never put the other one on. What sidetracked me? - Tell you at the end of this post. :-)
Anyway - Today being Thursday, it is time for "Thrifty Thursday" hosted by Leigh @ Tales of Bloggeritaville http://lbratina.blogspot.com/ .

You can't get any more thriftier than free. A neighbor was moving back a while ago, and I could not believe some of the things she was getting rid of, and this little jewel was one of them. It is a Godinger 24% lead crystal clock and is about 10 ins. tall, sticker still on the bottom. Yep! you read that right. Not a great photo - still have not figured out how to photo glass or sparkly things just right. She is same one that I got the candleabra from when she moved, that I did a post on Jan. 21st.

Come to think of it, I think I have another thing or two around here, that she was pitching out when she moved. That is my Thrifty Thursday find and hope you enjoyed it. If you have not already, go on over to visit Leigh @ Tales of Bloggeritaville to see her thrifty finds (you won't believe the deals she got on some garden items), and to check out what bargains other participants found.
Now - what got me sidetracked that I have one shoe on and one off ( excuse me while I put it on right now). Joy @ http://cupidscharm.blogspot.com/ is having a 40% off sale!!! I am finally getting a silver spoon braclet. I have wanted one for so long to go with my spoon ring. I am so excited!! :-D
Hope you have a great day!
Glenda

That's a real cute clock! I had to laugh at the shoes - I've done that before. When i do get the other shoe on, they are never tied the same. I end up having to take off the first shoe and doing it all over. LOL

Hi there. Thank you for stopping by to visit "The Zoo".
Your little clock is very cute, and you are absolutely right. You can't get thriftier than free.
By the way, your property is beautiful! I would have a hard time ever going inside if that was my yard.

Nothing is better than free! Great find.

I hear ya on photographing sparkly things. Photography in general is not my strong point! I just hope my points come through in spite of being photographically challenged. :)

Thanks for coming by today!

Beautiful clock. Wow, free. It is amazing what people get rid of, but at least you can enjoy it now.
