My Dollar Store Find

Time for Thrifty Thursday hosted by Leigh @ Tales of Bloggeritaville http://lbratina.blogspot.com/ and Show and Tell Friday hosted by Cindy @ My Romantic Home http://romantichome.blogspot.com/ . Thanks Leigh and Cindy for hosting these fun events again this week. This is another one of the little treasures I got at the dollar store that is closing. I thought it it might look good with some some tall ornamental grasses or such for an arrangement next Fall. It is metal so if used for real flowers I would sit a jar or glass inside of it to hold the water. For $1.60 - thought that was pretty good.

    Great deal on the pretty container! I really like the colors. You're clever to be thinking about fall decorating now. It always makes sense to buy things "out of season," doesn't it? I try to do that with clothing.

    Love your new container. I think it would be wonderful filled with a lot of different things. Even bright white tulips or daisy's would be pretty for spring. Great find. Hugs, Marty

    That's pretty. I love the colors, and I really like the photo composition too...the lighting is perfect.

    You could almost put that on its side and make a faux cornucopia out of it...fruit spilling out, surround it with fall leaves. You got a good buy!
