The Colors of Fall

Even tho it is officially Fall according to the calendar, the colors of Fall have not arrived here - still a little early. So, I dug around in photos I took in late October of 2009, and found that I did not really take that many pictures last Fall, however did find these. I love the deep blue, clear sky during the Spring and Fall months.

    I love the colors of fall. I just wish they weren't so fleeting. Beautiful mosaic. I love those beautiful blue skies against the yellows and oranges.

    Absolutely beautiful Fall mosaic Glenda!

    I am in the hearth room, looking toward the creek...I see a few red leaves of a sassafras...that's pretty much it for changing leaves here at home.

    What a fun Fall mosaic you've created. Fall can be so great, and I'm hoping ours is a long one this year, so that our Winter is shorter. :)

    What beautiful pictures...love that blue and yellow. We are just starting to have a few trees turn, but we are still mowing grass. They did have frost just a few miles north of us this morning, but we are to in the 80's by the weekend.

    Glenda, What glorious colors you experienced last year! Our trees haven't turned, either, and since it was so darned hot and dry this summer, I don't think it will be very colorful. Some of the leaves are falling without even turning...
    The weather is cooling off at night now and I actually turned on the furnace a few nights ago when it was raining... brrrr

    Glenda-Your mosaic is beautiful! I have been told that the leaves do not turn brilliant colors after a dry summer. If that is true, your mosaic may be the only chance we get to see pretty colors. Hope mom and baby are doing well. Can't wait to see more pictures. I could live with weather like this year round...I think.

    Maybe soon your weather will be much cooler, and you will feel like fall! We are having perfect fall days, about 65' clear blue skies, and the trees are turning brillant colors! Love your mosaic, lovely fallish colors!
