Dab of This and That

The beginning of the year, I said I was going to "spiffy" up my blog, change my blog look, figure out how to do more things, etc., but so far it has not happened.
So, first step - I decided to do a little clean up on my computer and in an effort to do so, I ran across this mosaic/collage I made from some pictures I took and posted about last Spring. Hope you enjoy seeing them again.

I am linking up with Mary @ "Mosaic Monday"
and Susan @ "Outdoor Wednesday"
Be sure and visit these ladies to see what they and the other participants have to share with us this week.

One of the reasons I have not been visiting around the "land of blog" that much the last few days or accomplished much of anything else for that matter, I have been watching "Lark Rise to Candleford". One of the very reasons I don't read as much these days - I get started and don't know when to take a break. Which reminds me - It is after 2:15 pm and have not eaten yet. So many distractions!

Have a great week!
Glenda

  1. Pretty pond Glenda! I haven't heard of "Lark Rise to Candleford". But that's probably just as well because I'm like you, once I get going (aka sucked into the vortex) I lose track of time and then the day's over and I got nothing done *winks* Vanna

  4. Oh Glenda, you sound like me. There are so many times that I've started to read a book and do absolutely nothing until I get to the end of the book (even then, I'm still living in the imaginary world of the book, and I can't accomplish much!). I remember your pretty mosaic. I am so ready to be able to see some of this beauty around us! laurie

  11. Isn't it amazing how one thing leads to another on the computer! I can lose myself for so long and that's not a good thing. You wonder where this fast-paced technology is taking us sometimes.

    Love those Koi shots!

  13. The pictures are beautiful...it looks warm and sunny, we are getting prepared for another major rain event and snow!

I'm trying to do little tweeks on my blog too. I removed a few blogs from my "follow" list, as the people haven't posted for over a year. I updated my list of favorite blogs and set it to have the most recent 10 posts from the list. I need to go through and remove photos from my computer. I have way too many on here!

  16. Pretty mosaic! It's nice to find something lost in your computer. It's a job I certainly need to do. I'm now interested in the show you are watching & would like to know more about it.

  18. Everyone needs a break sometime from whatever they are doing. I love being a part of the blog family, but it is time consuming and very tiring at times.

  20. The koi photos are wonderful! I fully understand how easy it is to become totally engrossed in a good book or movie or TV series...and then "poof" the day is over! As long as you are enjoying yourself it's OK.
