It is Crazy Out There !

No - we don't still have snow - just a picture I took before it melted last Wednesday (gotta have a picture - you know).

Set out with a list of stops to make today and only accomplished about half of them. One of the things I set out to accomplish, was to get lots of "little things" to make up some gift bags. I was already drawing a blank as to what I wanted to buy and the best place to go. Then ran into heavy traffic and full parking lots, so chose to do the next thing on the list. Well - The next thing on the list was a real bomb !! A store I had planned on buying some gifts at no longer is open. :( Back to "Square One" on 3 people on my list. Unfortunately, that seemed to be the pattern for the day. Did get several things accomplished and made a major trip to the grocery - had to - got company coming and for some reason, I think they may want to eat !!!
Hope you accomplished a lot more today than I did.

Have a Great Weekend !!!

Well at least you got to the grocery store. Don't you just hate that when you draw a blank? I managed to get two very important presents purchased online, then set out to Target and changed my mind because of traffic; went to the GW instead. Sent Mr. MST to the post office twice, not my favorite thing to do this time of year.

Hi darling, at least you didn't have to fight snow too. :-) We've has like a teeny tiny bit, all gone. It's just cold. I visited your friends blogs to lend my support, I pray she has good results from her tests.. hugs ~lynne~

I'm jealous. I want just enough to look pretty so that I can snap a picture :)

Glenda, don't feel bad, my list is still a mile long! Great snow shot with the wreath. Have a wonderful weekend!

Makes me think of Randy Newman singing "It's a Jungle Out There".

It is 19 in StL, this morning. When I looked out before daylight I thought it had snowed, but it was a heavy frost. My laptop tells me it is 14 at the lake.

Some days are just like that even with the best intentions!

Well, just slow down and smell the pine and cedar. Things will happen when they happen. Richard from My Old Historic House.

I think the world conspires to make us not like the holidays. I actually love Christmas, but it seems more and more people don't and they seem to take that out in public with them. By the time you get parked, in and out of a store and have faced grouchy customers and employees...it is pretty hard to feel "Christmasy"!

You're doing better than me my friend. I keep going everywhere looking for "something" wasting gas and time and STILL not getting anything accomplished! So I'm about -2 accomplishment wise *winks* Vanna
