A Simple Change

You are seeing a "rare sight". My dining table is not cluttered with stacks of papers, laptop, jewelry making supplies, etc. When the fresh tulips fizzled out......
Before
I replaced them with a single, peach colored, faux rose. I thought it looked pretty good with the faux peaches, and it will be my Spring/Summer look for a while.
After

I already had the peaches and rose - bought them for 80 cts. each, over 2 years ago when a store was going out of business. Post on it here
Will it stay this neat ? Nope! It is already cluttered. "Sigh"

I am joining Susan @ "Metamorphosis Monday"

Have a great week !

  2. Both my dining and breakfast tables are subject to instant clutter too. Seems like it is so hard to keep it from happening. Love your mirror tray and the beautiful vignette. Hugs, Marty

  12. Hi Glenda...

Well...your tulips were gorgeous but the single peach colored rose is beautiful as well! Very elegant! I love that you used peaches for your table centerpiece. Very pretty, my friend! By the way...I love, love, LOVE that beautiful white birdcage too! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us today!

    Warmest spring wishes,

  13. Wow! Things do look strangely uncluttered on your table :) It looks lovely, though. You really have a pretty table!

  14. Well it certainly looked pretty in the picture! We got home Saturday and I barely moved yesterday. I've spent the entire day trying to put my house back together as well as getting the "new" bathroom into shape.

I am so far behind in my blogging, I almost don't feel as if I have a blog. I have so many things to write about, but I have to get the laundry caught up first! Hope all is well.

  16. LOL - it is soooo hard keeping my dining room table free of stuff! That's why I want a smaller table. i figure a smaller table will give me less room to leave stuff on it.

Your dining room looks so pretty! I love the green placemats!
