Pretty Blues

Sharing a few pictures I took last weekend....

Weather was perfect, however time spent outside was limited due to the over population of mosquitoes.  They would appear in swarms and no amount of spray, etc. seemed to deter them.

    Ooo...Awww...I love the water and the photos are so pretty. Sorry about the ugly bugs, I wouldn't have wanted to leave the water's edge.

    So pretty, Glenda. I hate mosquitoes! It seems like we should be able to get rid of them somehow, but I guess we don't know what might come along and replace them that could be worse! Hope we don't all get flooded this weekend. Loud storms and a lot of rain here early this a.m. laurie

    It looks idyllic, you'd never guess about the swarms of mosquitos - I'll forget I read that bit and just imagine it was totally perfect there!

    Too bad about the mosquitoes. They can really be a downer on a beautiful day. I'm glad we don't have them here on the south island - there are a very few - but most of them are blown away by the sea breezes (or so I've been told). Beautiful skies in your photos.
