Fall in the Courtyard

Not much different from previous years - A pot or two of mums....
a pumpkin...
and a few ornamental gourds to keep the faux pumpkin company.  Yes - a faux pumpkin - What can I say?
I have really enjoyed seeing everyone's indoor and outdoor  Fall decor -  keep on sharing your photos.

  1. Your autumn vignette has been tastefully created. At least your faux pumpkin won't start to break down before the end of the month like I've seen real ones do.

  6. Looking lovely! I have a clay pumpkin--- I must remember to haul that sucker from the back yard to the front! lol Most of the time I have it tucked behind a plant... because lets face it, who wants a pumpkin all year long? and a smiling one at that! lol
    big hugs!

  7. So pretty and such a nice mix of textures and colors-you are very wise to use a faux pumpkin-a squirrel or some other little critter gnawed my daughter's pumpkin to pieces! Visiting from Mosaic Monday!

I won't ask you where you got it cos I'm on the other side of the world, so I can't pop in to a shop near you!! LOL

  9. Hi Glenda,

    So nice to meet you!

You've created a cozy mood of woodland creatures and seasonal flowers and stars, like your pumpkins, to bring an autumn air to your pretty surroundings. Your little granddaughter, with that mane of flaming red, is a perfect and pretty model for these fall shoots!

Thanks for stopping by Poppy View and hope to see you again soon!

  22. Your "faux" pumpkin certainly looks real! We have a bit of frost on the pumpkin up here...what happened? Whatever it is, it seems to have happened everywhere. They even had snow last night an hour north of us...NOT READY!!
