I have not participated in Outdoor Wednesday in a while, so thought I would join in this week. "Outdoor Wednesday" is hosted by Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer. http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/
Thanks Susan for hosting this fun weekly event.
Everything is brown and dreary looking around here and also to cold to get out and take pictures. So, thought I would share some more of the beautiful horses I photographed October, 2008.

ReplyDeleteHi Glenda,
ReplyDeleteLong time no see. Thanks so much for asking about me. I've been MIA for so long. Mostly life, job, holidays....etc. Just interupted my blog time. We moved to Franklin, TN in mid-November. Sold or gave away most of our furniture and other household items. Didn't want to move the majority of it and wanted a new fresh start. I love living here. I'm right in the downtown area, which is full of antique shops and boutiques. I plan on doing an update to my blog soon. I need some help getting my new (old) home decorated. I know I can find all kinds of ideas and creativity here in blogland.
Love the horses.
Kris
I love when cities do this sort of fund raisers... these are awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a lovely comment.
Have the best week!

Beautiful works of art. Thank you for telling me about the flatware. A bit out of my price range, but always the curious george comes out in me and I have to ask..lol hugs ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteGlenda, these are so great. I am always amazed at the artistry on these horses. It has really warmed up today (thank goodness)! laurie
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love it when cities do that. We saw the cows in Chicago, Mickey Mouse in Kansas City, Alligators somewhere in Florida and even decorated peanuts in GA. I'm always amazed at what people can do!

What a nice, bright post for such a dreary day. I love the Gift Horse! This is such a creative, fun art project. Happy OW! Kathy
ReplyDeleteGlenda, thanks for visiting me. I love the horses! when I was living in Portland Oregon we had several cows similar to these. At the Children's hospital we had a couple of them, even one indoors. Was really cool. Blessings, Marla
