Daughter's roses are thriving,
along with a container of mint, and
then there is the mint that went wild.
A bit of a warning - Plant mint in pots/containers so you can control its growth.
Add a bit of sage growing next to the roses,
and lets don't forget a healthy pot of basil.
Sounds like the makings for some yummy, savory dishes showing up on the dinner table in the near future.

Oh, I learned that lesson the hard way and am still pulling my hair out for not knowing better. Years later, I'm still trying to pull the mint out of a very large garden bed.

ReplyDeleteDrizly, grey day here although we haven't had many so far as it's been a lovely warm sunny Autumn.
However Winter is on her his/her way today!
Everything should be very lush here whenever the rain stops.
ReplyDeleteOh, that mint will take over, won't it. You have a lot of pretty pictures to share. Thank you
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so green and healthy!
ReplyDeleteMy mint never survives our hot summers, but then it comes back in the spring.
Enjoyed visiting,
Laura
