When daughter was here, she bought this pendant on sale at HL, and asked me to make her a necklace. With some silver chain, silver filigree beads, glass beads and a few minutes later, it went from this........

to this.

This one I made using pieces of a vintage bead necklace, vintage crucifix and new chain. The beads are such a dark blue, they are almost black. I had this completed and taking a picture, when I remembered I did not take one before. As long as I have been blogging, you would think I could remember.

Very pretty! I intended to make jewelry and bought all the trappings long ago. Still sits in there though.

How pretty. I love how you add the touch of a bead near the end of the chain. The soft blue bead are perfect with the pendant. I love those dark, dark blue beads too.
ReplyDeleteSince we usually talk about the weather...it was in the 80's here today, with wind warnings. It wasn't supposed to be past 70 and the storms are coming after midnight.
Absolutely beautiful pieces as always Glenda!
