Thrifty Thursday

It is time for "Thrifty Thursday" hosted by Leigh @ Tales of Bloggeritaville http://lbratina.blogspot.com/. Thank you Leigh for hosting this event. Thought I would share with you a couple more of the bargains I got at HL last week. This one I thought I would be keeping and hanging in my bedroom, but ended up giving it to my daughter. Gotta love that price - was $11.99 - paid $1.20.

I don't have pigs in my decor, but I have plans for a redo on this one Was $9.99 - paid $1.00.

So, if you have not already - go over to visit Leigh @ http://lbratina.blogspot.com/ to see what she and the other participants have to share for "Thrifty Thursday"

Remember this thrifty redo, that I was going to hang over my front door?PhotobucketWell - I waited about hanging it till I had some help due to it's weight and how high up it would be. Had planned on getting it done this last weekend, and now I'm not sure it will work. There will be very little space between the top of it and the ceiling and may not look right. Got to rethunk this.

We are having some unseasonably cooler temps for this time of the year and I am really enjoying it. We got some much needed rain yesterday and last night and everything looks so much fresher and greener today. It is 72 as I type - I am not complaining - it is just unheard of around here in July.

Off to enjoy some more of this great weather.

Glenda

Our evenings have been cool as well. I love it. Great HL finds. I got a few clearance items a couple of weeks ago but never got it posted.

Wow, those are some gorgeous finds and the prices are just unreal. I went to HL last week and the clearance aisle was almost empty. I think I was way too late. I really do love your finds though. I also wanted to thank you for your gracious comments on my TT. That was so kind of you and I really do appreciate it. Thanks again. Hugs, Marty

I usually buy craft supplies at Hobby Lobby but I do like their home decor items as well--just usually end up spending money on crafts instead!

How nice to have temperate temperatures in July! We are having that here, too ... lovely, especially after the disaster that was June.

I like the little piggy! What do you plan to do with it? You are going to banish piggy for something else? Don't forget to take pics.

Ooooh...you got some great things for bargain prices!!! Don't you just love Hobby Lobby! Last week I found several things on their 90% discount shelves...I just love finding these pretty items that were marked $30 or so for just $3...can't beat it! hehe! I bet your daughter enjoyed her gift...I sure would have loved it!!! And I love your little pig plaque with hooks...what are you going to do with it? Just curious...hehe!

Ohhh my...I love your ornate piece that you were going to hang over your door...so sorry that it didn't work out! It's just gorgeous though...I'm sure you'll find something pretty to do with it! Maybe over some wall art?

Well my friend, sure enjoyed your Thrifty Thursday post...Have a great day!!!
