Outdoor Wednesday

Thought I would join in on "Outdoor Wednesday" hosted by Susan @ http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/. Thank you Susan for hosting this weekly event. I think it has been a while since I posted on this weekly party. My flowers are doing their "last hurrah" for the Summer. They really look sorta sad in these pictures I took a couple of days ago. Not a lot of blooms left. Photobucket I have 5 of these large ferns and they seem to be holding their own and still look good at this point.

The wax begonias will last longer - They usually hold out until the first frost. Geraniums have a few more blooms left.

Photobucket

More begonias. I took this picture several days ago right after it had rained and they look pretty much the same today - rain and all.

If you have not already, visit Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer to see what she and the other participants have to share.

Hope you are having a great week.

Wow ... your flowers are looking more robust than mine, although my begonias are still in good shape. Thank goodness!
Love that "thought bubble" ...how do you do that?

Your flowers still look really good. We've not had anything much blooming here due to the drought, but with the recent rain things are starting to bloom now! I love the brick courtyard, it's just beautiful. Happy Outdoor Wednesday. Kathy

What a lovely garden you have! My poor Impatiens are about done now...I do love the Fall colors but it makes me a little sad to see the flowers fade.

Very pretty. Enjoy them while you can. In a few weeks the frost will hit them. I don't cover mine, I figure when it's time to frost, it's time to let the garden go.

I don't know what part of the USA you live in, but your plants and flowers are beautiful. Mine are turning yellow and look really sparse. Great job on the photos.

Glad to see you've got some summer left with your flowers! Yes, I've still got geraniums blooming, and ferns looking mighty good. The rest, not so much.

Your flowers are still beautiful. It's so hard to let go of summer. We had some really cold weather last week that took down my geraniums. That happens before we get leaf drop here. I hope you are having a wonderful day.

Your flowers still look pretty good! The only thing I have hanging on are my Geraniums, otherwise it's all fall here. Cindy

Hi Glenda,
Your garden looks pretty. I love the brick area - it looks very inviting!
I can't for the life of me figure out how to keep begonias alive. They seem very persnickety to me -- the last one I brought home lasted about a week, until we had a heat wave. I've been nursing it, but don't know if it's worth it. Yours look great in comparison!! You must have the touch.
Thanks for always visiting and leaving such nice comments. I really do appreciate it. I feel like we have a little visit almost every day!
