Dab of This and That

JUST A RAMBLE: Thought I would drop in, so no one would think I disappeared. Been doing things, but nothing blog worthy, like income taxes (started on, but not completed), cleaning leaves out of flower beds, etc., etc.. I paid a high price for cleaning out the leaves and Winter debris - my back was just not ready for that just yet. :( Just trying to get some of the "chores" done, so I can start on some fun projects. We have had some great weather the last several days, but that came to an end. Still have the warmer temps, but rain showed up and looks like will be here off and on for the next couple of days.
I AM READY: Don't know about the rest of you, but I am really looking forward to changing over to Daylight Saving Time this weekend. As many of you know from reading my mumblings and grumblings, I am not a Winter person. I need longer days, warmer (Not hot) temps, sunshine - glorious sunshine, and I am way past due for a burger or a good hot dog cooked on the grill.

I would like to say THANKS to everyone that drops by to read my ramblings, to those that leave a comment letting me know you are out there and your opinions , and to those that visit, read and leave quietly. There are many of you out there - Got my meter report today stating I had over 700 visitors in the last week alone! When I started blogging in Nov., 2008, I had no clue so many people would be interested in what I have to say or do. Thanks to those that have become Readers (also known as Followers, but I like the term Reader). I have met many bloggers out there, that I would not have known about otherwise.

Hope everyone is having a great week!
Glenda
ETA: That is one of MANY squirrels that frequent my courtyard daily! My area is heavily populated - Anyone out there need some squirrels?

I'm with you on the sunshine! With a couple days of warmer temps, I'm biting at the bit to start working outside in my garage and spray paint cans :)

I also enjoy your ramblings. I am under the weather with pneumonia, so I am catching up on some blog reading. Can you believe how many people you meet blogging. Congrats on your blog success. I think it is fun, especially when the ones I read live in my area.

I too am anxious for summer. We've had too many cold days here in TN. It's time for some warm ones. I dropped in to say thanks for visiting junkblossoms and got caught up in your ramblings. Love it. Pat

No thanks. We have plenty of tree rats around here, too. My silly little dog runs and hides from them. And she's bigger than them. They shoo her away when they want the deck. More happiness - tree frogs are singing tonight. Hope you get a great tax return.

Cute little squirrels in their conversation! My DH is feeding our squirrels dried corn on the cob and peanuts along with feeding the birds.

I am ready for spring as well and hoping a lot of things survived this harsh winter!

Box up a few of those squirrels and send them to me. One male and one female will do nicely. We have no squirrels here. There are squirrels right next door in Coeur d' Alene ( a few miles away) but I've never seen a squirrel here. Sigh

Ramble on, Glenda! I always enjoy reading what you have to say. Cute pics and captions! Sorry you're having back problems ... definitely NOT fun. Back pain AND taxes? OY!

The sun's shining here today (for the moment). Hope the rain holds off for a while. And hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

Regards,
Bill

I don't "do" winter well either. We've had beautiful weather the past 2 days with the exception of a huge storm in the middle of the night. I don't like worrying about the storms, but I'll deal with it if the sun shines most of the time and I can have the windows open!
