Mosaic Monday

I have not participated in "Mosaic Monday" in a while, so went thru my pictures to see what I could come up with. Some of you may remember, last year I posted pictures I took of some gingerbread houses made by the culinary staff where I attended a holiday event. Took some of the photos and ................

LOVE this post! The gingerbread houses are amazing! My youngest son just mentioned the other day how fun it would be to make one. We might have to try it.

Those are beautiful. Need to decorate one with the grandsons. I am sure they would be just as pretty...to me. Ha.

Isn't it amazing what they can do with gingerbread? I tried making one once when my kids were about junior high age. We worked and worked and it slid all over the place, frosting dripping...walls falling. I looked at the kids and said, forget it...just eat it! They still talk about how they got to tear into it and eat what they wanted!

Looking at both versions, I'd say that the black and white one helps us to appreciate the architecture more. Amazing creations.
