It Has Come and Gone........

Hope everyone has enjoyed the Holidays. After all the decorating, cooking, shopping, wrapping - and in a blink of the eye, it is over with for another year. I cut back in a lot of ways this year and I have to admit, I did not miss a thing that did not get done. I indulged and ate a few things that I don't eat often, but don't think I did to bad.

I Missed it: Just found out recently, a large antique mall that has been in business for a long time, closed its' doors recently. They had an auction a couple of weeks ago, and I keep thinking about a very large display of vintage and antique rhinestone bling and wonder if it was auctioned off, or the dealer removed it prior to the sale. Don't know how I missed this one, as I check the estates sales/auctions for the area. Probably best for my bank account that I did not know.

Project on my mind: I have been thinking some time about creating a new workspace, where I can work on jewelry, and be able to stop in the middle of a project and not have to put every thing away to clear the dining table. Thought about converting a china cabinet and having a work area that could be folded up in the cabinet when not in use, but a piece would have be removed and that particular piece is a support post - not gonna work. So far the solution to the problem - get rid of one of the doll houses and that has caused some "looks and comments" from certain people.......................... back to the drawing board.

Among many other things I plan to accomplish this next week, is to redo my infamous "To Do" lists. I know - Some of you are probably saying "yeah right - her and those on going "to do" lists". Yep! Those are the ones!
I am constantly jotting down things I need to get done, so I need to prioritize that list, and then get a reality check and redo the "would like to do" list.

Sooooo.......................What is on your agenda for this week ?
What ever your plans - have a great week !!
Glenda

In a blink of the eye Christmas seems to have gone away! It ended all too soon- sheesh- seems as if I just finished putting the finishing touches on it all. LOL
My to do list will include me getting more organized- a place for everything and everything in its place. We'll see.....

It's crazy isn't? My list is getting long, but it is nothing fun I want to tackle.

She is so cute Glenda and boy does she have the beautiful red hair!
My lists are endless so I sure know what you mean.
I sometimes feel like a hamster spinning and never quite getting ahead.

Hope your holidays were wonderful. I have never ending to do lists also.....one of my problems is I sometimes lose them! But that's okay, I'm constantly jotting down new "to do's".

I'm so sorry you missed that auction but, as you say, you'd probably be a lot poorer had you known.

On my agenda is getting healthy again after a terrible Christmas bug came along and bit me :(

Surely your not speaking of the little red head when you refer to the doll houses? Lol, she is a doll. Christmas sure flew by this year, and I am not as relieved as I usually am for some reason. As far as my to-do list, I don't make one because I would just lose it anyway. Have a great one, Glenda, and Happy New Year if I don't see you before.

It sure does go by fast; I can't say I'll be back in the swing of things until at least next week. Your granddaughter gets cuter every time I see another picture.
I'm sure you'll be able to figure something out for your new work space. With all the things that had to be done for Christmas, it's no wonder you missed the antique mall that closed. Try not to think about all the good sales...haha.

'Sounds like ya had the best of Christmases sweetie. Sorry about the store closin' without a bit of 'bling' for ya! Heehehehee!

We are havin' our Christmas on the Ponderosa Saturday so I'm here kinda like a kid waitin' for Santa. I'm soooo excited!!!

You're such an organized lady! I envy that! I know what you mean as far as using the kitchen table. That seems to be my work area for everything and I don't like it. Every time I start sewing something I have to put it all away then pull it back out and try to figure out where I left off!

No big New Years plans here and that's fine with me. Happy 2012, Glenda!
