Azaleas

Late Wednesday afternoon I remembered rain was headed our way, and I had not taken pictures of my azaleas this year. I knew if it rained as much as predicted, it would beat them down, so grabbed the camera. Had to wait between gusts of wind to try and get a decent picture - still most turned out a bit blurred.

They are prettier than last year, but not as full as they were 2 years ago - the color is a little different this year also.

I would like to say "Welcome" to the new readers who have joined in. Have not been posting and visiting around the "land of blog" very much recently - other things going on . We all know how that goes. :) Hope to catch up before long.
"They" are saying we are suppose to have great weather the next few days, so plan on spending a lot of time outside. A bit more "winter debris" cleanup outside is in order, along with a shopping trip for annuals. Flowers !! I need flowers !! :-D

What ever your plans - Have a great week!
Glenda

Azaleas are some of my favorites. We've had trouble growing them here for some reason but we try. Love your collage! And good luck with the flowers, I know the feeling of just having to go and get some!

Here in Connecticut the daffodils are in bloom and they are very early. It's wonderful! Waiting for the trees to bloom now. Thanks for sharing your pics of prettiness. I love flowers, don't you? So nice to meet you. I'm following now..Linda

Azaleas are so pretty! I wish we could grow then here. My husband always loves to watch the Masters golf tournament and the azaleas are usually in bloom then but I think everything is earlier this year.

My azaleas will not be out for another month or so. Yours look great! Hope that the rain doesn't get them. They have such a short time as it is...

Your Azaleas are gorgeous Glenda. We are a tad far north to get the same growth as in the south, but we keep trying!:-)

They are beautiful! Isn't it funny how the color can be a little different. If we didn't have photos, we would wonder! ♥

Azaleas are so pretty...I love the color of yours. We are heading south in a few days and I hope to see them in masses, I love it when that happens!

It is gorgeous here...a bit cooler than it has been but I'm good with that. I'm still struggling with allergy headaches, but I have good days and bad. On the good days I'm still cleaning and throwing away things! I'm almost done with the main floor-but the basement storage room scares me!

Your azaleas are so pretty. I'm looking forward to The Masters this weekend and seeing more! I can grown a lot of things, but Azaleas have never done well for me, I just haven't found the trick. After seeing everyone else's, I want to try again.

I love their gorgeous color, but sadly, azaleas don't do well up here. We'll be in NC in a few weeks so I'll get to enjoy them for a few days. Glad you were able to capture them with your camera before the rain! Sorry to hear about your friend's passing. ~Sue
