Holiday Decor

Instead of braving the crowds on BF, I did a "bit" of Christmas decorating.  "Thrifty" decorating as I am using items I already had - trying not to buy any new decor this year. Got the wreaths hung on the back and on the front door.
Dining table got changed out - from "Fall", posted about here.
 Starting with a Winter look...
then add a bit of faux greenery and berries....

Decor on the counter still needs some  "tweaking", which includes eating the last couple pieces of  "Fall candy" in the candy jar, and replace with something more Christmas related.  That should not be very hard to do   :)...........
Linking up with  "Metamorphosis Monday"

Well, you know that I love that mirror on your dining table, Glenda. It inspired me enough to go out and purchase a three piece set a few years ago! Good for you for not buying anything new. I'm using all that I have and not all of it this year. I always have gone overboard, but this year am paring back a bit. Hope to see more of your pretties soon. Are you sure you'll be eating that leftover candy? LOL

So pretty Glenda and that's all it really needed, just adding a bit of greenery. You're still ahead of me.

Very pretty, Glenda! I don't have any Christmas decor out yet since we hosted Thanksgiving but DH and I did get some lights strung outdoors today so it's a start :)

What a pretty candle holder, Glenda. Love the way it looks when the light shines through. It's beginning to look like Christmas at your place. Need me to come help you eat the Fall candy? laurie

It is wonderful you are not buying new decor. I love your center piece. I am thrifty too and hardly ever buy new. Visiting from Brenda's, Olive

Too funny - loved your comment on eating the fall candy. I made Mr OP eat the last of the candy corn yesterday so that I can add Christmas candy too.

Love the winter look!

I need some lessons in tablescapes and vignettes. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday, spend an hour in the pick isle and ended up putting it all back. I don't seem to quite 'get it' yet.

Yours is very pretty!

Now that is my idea of decorating...eating the fall candy and putting out some Christmas! I have to say that I have more of a cookie weakness than a candy weakness!

We didn't go out on Black Friday either (obviously, I wasn't up to it) but I did order a few things on Cyber Monday.

Your table looks very pretty...beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Glenda your table looks beautiful, and I think you were really smart to stay away from BF and decorate instead! So much better to shop by computer I think. *winks* Vanna

Very pretty and festive. I did buy a new sleigh this year for decorating. I couldn't resist it.

I don't blame you one bit, Glenda, for avoiding BF and decorating instead. Very pretty. I hope to finish up today.

I stayed home on BF, too, and made a pot roast. However, Dr. g went to the flea market and returned with peacocks and a turkey (farm pets). We rode the fence line, looking for holes (goats keep esaping). I LOVE your centerpiece! XXOO
