A Bit of a Change.....

By the time I finally got around to decorating just a bit for Easter, it was almost over, and I never got around to taking a picture.  Put it all away, pulled out a bisque porcelain  swan container, put some faux roses in and at this point in time,  calling it  my Spring look for the dining table......
Done the "thrifty way", as I have had the swan since the late 80's, and the roses for several years.  They are the same ones in my "about me" photo.
  A softer effect.....
Was going to redo the mosaic/collage and add my "about me" icon, but the one in PM looked a bit wonky and  picasa decided to take a nap and not accept it when tried to add it to the album - strange.  So it gets to stand alone.....

Thank you ladies  for taking your time and all the work you put into hosting these weekly events.
If you have not already, be sure to pay them a visit to see what they, and  all the other participants have to share this week.

Gorgeous weather here over the weekend, so needless to say I found lots of reasons to be outside soaking up some vitamin D.
Have a Great Week !

Swans are so graceful and serene. I'll have to head to the lake, one day soon, and see them. Roses, of course, are always wonderful!

You could have fooled me with those pretty roses, they sure look real. Did I ever mention how much I like your header?

Very pretty Glenda! I really like the swan. I have big one for my backyard that I got thrifting a few years ago.

I never dreamed your "about me" roses weren't real ones. Those are really nice faux flowers. It looks pretty...I simply put away the various eggs I had sitting around and left the rest for spring. I may switch to shells when summer arrives, but it will depend on the mood I'm in and how much life is getting in the way!

I don't know what is headed your way today, but they are scaring us to death with all the "dangerous storms coming" stuff. It isn't pretty, but it is still warm. There is that feeling in the air that a change is coming. You know how I feel about storms!

Lovely table scape Glenda.
I just picked some fresh hyacinths to enjoy indoors before they wither away. They smell wonderful.....
