Signs the Season is Changing.....

A Fall, country sunset......
A Fall sunset - definitely looks different from other seasons.
The red headed cupid can dance barefoot in the leaves on a warm Fall day...
or dress warmer on a cool Fall day and still dance in the leaves.
The above 3 pics courtesy of daughter.

Someone shared a picture with me of what she woke up to one morning last weekend in East TN.
Picture removed.
Beautiful to see, however, don't want any of the white stuff here.

Where has this year gone ?!? Seems like just yesterday, I was planting  annuals, and hoping they would survive the squirrels and chipmunks digging them up, and me replanting them more than once.  I miss the temps in the 70's and 80's already, and judging from the extended weather forecast it will be some time before I will enjoy them again.

Am I ready for the holidays that are just around the corner ?!?
No I am not! Are you?

Thanks for sharing Glenda. I'm not even close to being ready!! It's been unusually warm here this past week just when I thought fall was finally here.

Actually, the lights and decorations make late fall and early winter seem a little more bearable. Our November forecast is not nice! We've been enjoying some beautiful sunsets here also. We can actually see them now with the leaves off the trees :) Cute pics of Miss Cupid.

Oh yes, we are getting some stunner sunsets down here too. They are over the gulf this time of year and are just amazing! Would like to experience a few of those snowflakes this year though. Might have to take a little in at the cabin this year. Hope you stay warm, healthy and happy this winter Ms. Glenda!!!

I can't believe it is almost the middle of November. Must be a sign of my age ... the days go fast. I think I'll join the kids in playing the leaves! :)

The wintry scene with the deer could make a pretty seasonal card.
We've had a few teasers of snow but it hasn't stayed.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Glenda.

Beautiful Fall indeed! I love the looks of snow, but the older I get the less I like the cold. I am happy that usually after a snow storm the sun comes out and shines so it just looks pretty.
hugs,
Jann
