Colors of Fall...

Had hoped to have some new pics of the beautiful colors of Fall to share this week, but the weather did not cooperate - lots of dreary, gloomy, soggy days recently.  "They" predicted we would see some sunshine the last couple of day, but "Mom Nature" had other plans.
Daughter did send this one of an early morning sunrise.
A Fall Sunrise - 2015
The clouds almost look like the side of a mountain on fire.
Then I dug around in pics I took 3 years ago and found a few to add to the post.

Don't know about anyone else, but I don't care for the  time change. Getting dark early and lower temps make me cranky - nuff said!
Have an enjoyable and safe weekend.

I'm not loving the early darkness, either. Beautiful photos! I hope your neck of the woods sees the sun this weekend!

I'm with you! I'd rather have the light at night than in the morning. I'm grumpy in the am whether there's light or not lol I didn't get any fall pics either. Our yard and street are beautiful this time of year but I swear they look colorful for about 2 minutes and then the leaves all fall! I think we've finally hit the wall and cold is here to stay:( Just bought my son a pair of snow pants today. Yikes. xoKathleen

Hi Glenda, Hope the Fall has been treating you right! Thank you for stopping by my blog last week, its always so nice to see and read your kind words! Sorry to hear of your dreary weather up there. Down here in sunny old Florida it has been a hot and humid 8o degrees. I'm ready for some Fall like weather too! Take care now, and always nice to see you stop through the ol blog!

I agree with you. It gets dark entirely too often. Your Fall photos are so pretty. We're suppose to be in the low 30's tonight. This weather is really crazy.

It's only been a week since the time change, but it always takes me the longest time to adjust. Thanks for sharing your pretty fall pictures, Glenda.

Haha, we do tend to get cranky about change don't we? 6 pm now feels like it's 8 o'clock or so, I like the light of day during the summer when we could be out until 9 pm.
Soon your trees will be like ours, bare - but at least I'm seeing where nests had been built. :-)

We recently returned from Georgia where we were visiting friends and it was gloomy there too. They've had so much rain! Beautiful pictures of sunnier days ;)

It is gloomy here today in Illinois. For weeks it has been sunny and warm usual for this time of year. Glad you searched your files. Nice post.
