One of Those Rambles....

A touch of color:  On a dark, dreary, cold, wet day recently it was nice to see a bit of color appear outside the door.
The cardinals are making their yearly visit. Some years many show up off and on for a couple of months, and some years lucky if see just a couple.  So far have not see that many just yet - maybe later.  This fellow showed up and dined on bits and pieces of hickory nuts the squirrels dropped. Not a good pic - taken thru a glass door that needed cleaning (will get done someday - maybe).
******
All gone:  During the holidays a local bank sells a variety of pecan treats (benefits a charity) that are hard to resist, and one of my favorites are the cinnamon glazed.  I knew I should have bought more....
******
Headed to high ground:  Someone sent my daughter this pic taken close to their home.  The rivers and creeks are rising, so the wild life know to head for higher ground.  She said there were about 100 deer, and wild turkeys in this one area.
Sadly, many won't survive as they won't find what they need to eat - mainly the deer.

Who watched the first episode of season 6 of Downtown Abbey Sunday night? What do think?

Don't know about anyone else, but I am tired of Winter already.  Just saw where tonight's low is suppose to be 25 degrees - Burrr!
Just another Dab of This or That's rambles.
