Met. Monday

Hope everyone enjoyed your weekend. It has been sort of a quiet weekend. 2 of the Grands were here from late Friday afternoon til late morning Sat.. They had lots of stories to share about their new teachers, seeing their friends at school again, etc.

I have been working on several "little" projects lately, and decided it was time to finish some of them up before starting anything else. I have had a severe case of AAADD (Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder) for some time now. I have to much "unfinished stuff" sitting around, so this post is a couple of things that I am calling finished at this point.

Here she is in some of her finery. The scarf is temporary, til I find something different to use, and is wearing 4 of the necklaces I have made. I am calling this project finished.

This was an old necklace given to me in case I could use it in a repurposed jewelry project. The chain, old style clasp and metal beads were to far gone to repurpose, so took it apart. The dark on the beads is the tarnish from the old tarnished metal, so wet the end of a toothpick to clean out the inside of the beads - worked pretty good. Sill have some to clean. will work on them when I have nothing better to do. :-)

Forgot to take pictures of the work in progress as was in a hurry to finish, get table cleared off so we would have a place to eat Fri. night.

Used some of the glass beads with new sterling plated chain and beads and WA-LA! Project finished! Will use the remaining beads in other projects.
