Thrifty Thursday

Thought I would join in with Leigh @ Tales of Bloggeritaville http://lbratina.blogspot.com/ for Thrifty Thursday. Nothing real exciting, but did get these 2 magazine holders for "free". I asked how much and she said just take them. She was more interested in getting rid of stuff, than making money - major clean out. I already have several, but mine are a frosted acrylic (?). I will probabley offer these to my daughter.

Found this wooden basket in the clearance section of HL a few weeks ago. Originally $4.99, and I paid $1. I originally planned to spray it satin black to go with the redos for my 1/2 bath, but decided against it as it is a different style.

This is my little contribution to "Thrifty Thursday". Lets go over to see what Leigh and the other participants have to share .
Short post today. To much going on right now that I have no control over and there is nothing I can do to make things better. Can't say that I have accomplished much today. Ok - I will take a deep breath - maybe tomorrow will be better.
Hope you are having a great week.

I am smitten with that basket! I don't think I have ever seen one so unique. Unfortunately, no HL near me. They don't have stores this far south. Can you imagine???

Good find on the magazine holders. The way I buy magazines, one can never have too many!

I do have to say that HL is one of the few places I CAN shop retail because they have such DEEEP discount prices when they clear out that it is like a thrift store if not better...sometimes! Great finds. Thanks for visiting :-)

Adorable little basket, but I really like those magazine holders. I could use a full-time, paid magazine wrangler here -- I have WAY too many!

Wonderful finds. Glenda, it's okay not to accomplish something all the time, don't you think? Hope you have a happy and relaxing weekend, dear.

Hi Glenda! Sorry I haven't been around lately! You always get such great buys! Do we ever have control?!? I've had to give over some things lately to the Lord and just keep praying! I hope things get better soon! God Bless! Lauralu :)
