A Touch of Blue

Not doing much these days that would be in the category of decorating, just a small change here and there. I did add some more cobalt blue in the window in the dining area. Added the squirrel that was on top of the microwave for years, and took all the blue marbles out of the vintage candy jar (here)
Photobucket
put them in an apothecary style jar and added to the vignette. I like the way the sun shines thru the blue early in the day.
Before

After

Just a small table top change (actually it is in the window).

I am linking up with Susan @ "Metamorphosis Monday"
and Marty @ "Table Top Tuesday"

Probably won't be hanging out in "blogland" during the day very much this next week. Why - You ask?
Need I say more ?!?! :-D

Have a great week !

ETA: Almost forgot - Happy Valentine's Day !

I do love the sun shining through cobalt glass! No, you don't need to spell out where you'll be. If our weather holds, that's where I'll be too!

Love the blue glass and the marbles. I like the way you layered the colored marbles in the jar. I think your temperatures are going to be warmer than ours next week.

Love all that cobalt blue. I used to have a lot of it, but over the years it has been weeded out.

It's the little things that make us smile. Darling little vignette. I've never thought of putting marbles in my glass containers before. Very pretty. : )

Glenda, Love, love that gorgeous cobalt blue!! It's amazing how the addition of just a couple of pieces really changed this corner of your window ledge.
Lucky you to be in the 60's! It was only 34 degrees and windy here today. Did that darn groundhog see his shadow or not?! LOL

I love your cobalt glass. That is a favourite of mine, too. It looks like the lid of your candy jar says Birmingham, Alabama. Do you have any other photos showing the lid? I would love to look for one of those. Happy Valentine's Day!

Isn't the sunshine wonderful? We are going to get rain with our warm temps later this week, but I don't even care!

I love the cobalt blue. I need to do some changing of things around here this week.
