A Kinda/Sorta Successful Shopping Trip...

I usually carry a substantial size purse/bag on my shoulder for everyday out and about.  It could be made anything from quilted material, canvas to leather.  I am not one to change purses often - usually use one until I tire of it and move on.  Evening wear and/or special occasions - I have purses to fit the occasion.
Already on a mission to find a pair of low heeled, black dress shoes, so added crossbody small purse/bag for everyday use to the list.   One just big enough for the bare essentials - driver's licenses, etc.

What did I accomplish on that shopping trip? Not what I set out to do.  Did not find the dress shoes I needed,  but  ended up with 2 pairs of casual shoes, and yes a crossbody purse.
The size works, color black works, zipped pockets work, etc.  Just disappointed I did not find one I liked made of natural materials without having to pawn my first born.  So got tired of looking and settled on this one.

Paid half the original price so guess that kinda/sorta qualifies as a thrifty find.....

Were the shoes a thrifty buy?  Not in my opinion, but needed them anyway.
Be sure to drop by and see what the other participants have to share this week.

You did good! It's small enough, but looks like plenty of room inside with the separate sections. I rarely find what I set out to buy.

Very pretty! I finally broke down a few months ago and bought a bigger purse (similar size as the one you got) at TJMaxx.

I hardly ever buy anything "brand new" anymore. The only spluge I have is buying perfume. At $60 a bottle, I've got to skimp on other things LOL
So, if you don't buy expensive perfume, than your way ahead of the game!

I like your new handbag. I've looked around for a cross body for awhile. Found one the other day finally. Liked it, took out a loan on my first born and bought it.:-) I had a cross body which is actually an organizer, but it was too small. I've had it about 10 years and used it when J was in hospital two years ago, because I always have my hands full of other stuff to lug in and out when he is in hospital. Really helped using that little bag. The straps are very thin and like I said, not enough room. I didn't want a huge bag and when I found the one I came home with, I went ahead and bit the bullet. Hope this one stays with me 10 years. More importantly, I hope I stay around at least till then.LOL

Hope you are well, Glenda!

I think it's a great purse and a great deal! I hate to tell you that I never shop at a mall. I just pick clothes and accessories up at T.J Maxx or a damaged goods store that I love going to. You never know what you are going to find. But they have a lot of name brand clothes and products. I use to always shop at malls, but can't remember the last time I went to one. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

I have gone to small cross body purses and I love them! Keeps my stuff safer and my hands free. You dd great, and yes unless I find a nice leather purse at the thrift shops (and I have!!) I end up with manmade materials being in my price range. I think you did great! Thanks for linking to TTF!
