A Garden of Flowers and Herbs....

Daughter's roses are thriving,
along with a container of mint, and
then there is the mint that went wild.
A bit of a warning - Plant mint in pots/containers so you can control its growth.
Add a bit of sage growing next to the roses,
and lets don't forget a healthy pot of basil.
Sounds like the makings for some yummy, savory dishes showing up on the dinner table in the near future.

Oh, I learned that lesson the hard way and am still pulling my hair out for not knowing better. Years later, I'm still trying to pull the mint out of a very large garden bed.

Beautiful roses!

Mint has legs and can run through the garden pretty quick can't it? LOL I like chocolate mint although it is sometimes hard to find.
Cute kitty guarding the herbs!
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Glenda.

I'm so pleased to see everything is lush and colourful in your neck of the woods dear Glenda!
Drizly, grey day here although we haven't had many so far as it's been a lovely warm sunny Autumn.
However Winter is on her his/her way today!

Everything should be very lush here whenever the rain stops.

Everything looks so green and healthy!

My mint never survives our hot summers, but then it comes back in the spring.

Enjoyed visiting,

Laura
