Feathered Friends Party

Gina @ The Shabby Chic Cottage http://www.theshabbychiccottage.net/ is hosting a Feathered Friends Party for 8/12/09. Since I have a lot of birds and birdcages around my home, I thought I would join in. I did a post on my faux feather friends in January, so some of you may have already seen most of these. Some of the pictures I had already taken back in January and only have them in photobucket and they won't post any larger for some reason. Won't have time to retake today. This pretty bird hangs out in my living room window.

These are camped out in my dining room window.

This one hangs out by the sliding glass door.Bought this cage at a charity consignment store for $15 last October and it is my favorite.Photobucket
This one and a couple of his buddies just like him are sitting in a faux tree in the guest room.PhotobucketAnd this pretty bird shares the faux tree in the living room with 3 friends just like her.Photobucket Up in the corner of a window.Photobucket A couple birdcages hanging in my courtyard.

Then there is the one birdhouse that I have. My daughter gave me this a few years ago for Christmas.
Photobucket I think that is all of the feathered friends and their homes that I have sharing my space, but I won't make any promises. :-)
Thank you Gina for hosting this fun event. If you have not already, go over to see what Gina and the other participants have to share.
Hope everyone is having a great week.

P.S. Regarding your followers list on blogger... do the name still appear in Reader? If they are in Reader, you can transfer them over to blogger in your settings page.

Glenda -
I'm having the same problem with my Reading List. It is blank and says that I am NOT following anyone :( Blogger must be having issues. Love all of your feathered friends and their homes. You have such beautiful cloches :)

Glenda,
Re blogger list.
Mine has done that before and just came back on it's own. After i panicked of course! =0))

I've also noticed not being able to sign up to follow anyone's blogs tonight.
Somewhere there is a malfunction and I'm sure all will be fine soon.

Lots of bloggers are having the same problem as you this morning - that sounds like it's something Blogger has to sort out, not us, doesn't it? Hope it all works out for you and thanks for the birds and birdhouses!

Glenda,
My reading list is also gone. I couldn't find the problem either, if you find the fix please let me know. Your cages are beautiful, I don't know which one I like best. Your home is beautiful. I have also had problems signing up for new blogs in the past 24 hours.

Glenda, no worries, Blogger does this, it's happened before and it will come back soon (hopefully! ha)

Love your pretty collection! The cloche is adorable and I am crazy over the birdcages in your courtyard! So unique!

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Glenda! First of all, don't worry about Blogger. This has been happening off and on for about 2 weeks. Suddenly the blog list disappears or the follower list - then they come back. Blogger is aware of the issue.

I love your bird houses - you have such lovely pieces and I love the way you display them with birds. So, so pretty! Thank you for sharing them with us. (The cloche is absolutely beautiful with the little birdies and nest inside.)

Glenda, so far I haven't had that problem. Did you try going to Google Reader? You'll find it on the My Account page. Usually it holds all the blogs you follow. Wonder what happened?

Wish I had that many birds around my house! I've started buying a few lately but I have a long way to go before I catch up to you. And I'm a bird lover! The house your daughter gave you for Christmas is beautiful!!!

Hi Glenda,

I enjoyed visiting so much! Everything is so sweet, tucked in here and there throughout your home. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a knock on your door, and a little bird asking if it could move in!
