Outdoor Wednesday

Time for Outdoor Wednesday, hosted by Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer. http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ Thanks Susan for hosting again this week.
I am posting something a little different this week. These are some photos I took Sunday.
Sun shining on the icy trees - in black and white.

Be sure and visit Susan to see what she and other participants have to share this week.

If you would like to see some very pretty black and white photos, visit Pat @ Back Porch Musings. She is a great photographer and she shared some of her black and white photos with us here . http://www.backporchmusings.com/2010/01/black-white.html.

Hope everyone is having a great week.

Glenda-Love your black and white photos. You got some good shots! I thought the trees looked beautiful wrapped in ice--until the limbs started falling :)

Beautiful photos, Glenda!!

Thanks so much for the shout out!

I was standing in the powder room when I took the moon photos. I went into the kitchen on my way to throw in a load of laundry. It wasn't daylight yet. I looked up at the big window over the front door and saw the moon, getting ready to set, soon. I ran in and grabbed the camera and raised the window. It was chilly, but nothing like going outside. Although, I must admit, I was on the deck at the lake, barefoot, when I took some of the photos, last month.:-)

Well, at least you made good use of the snow and ice. Your black and white photos are so pretty. I need to try some black and white. I was sure sorry to hear that the groundhog saw his shadow. Stay warm. laurie

Nice shots but burr:) I enjoyed your post with the horse photos. Amazing that each city has different decorated animals the past few years. They sure are fun to see.
