Dab of This and That

Is that sky not absolutely beautiful! That is what it looked like today, when I was "out and about" , and the temps in the high 60's. Tomorrow is suppose to be even better - sunshine and high around 70. :) Where did I take this picture - in HL's parking lot of course! :-D More on that another time. I intend to enjoy this weather, since it is suppose to rain and drop temps over the weekend. :( Lot of trees starting to bloom - just hope the drop in temps don't mess things up.

It is time for "Show and Tell Friday" hosted by Cindy @ My Romantic Home http://romantichome,blogspot.com/.
Since doll houses and miniatures are some of my favorite things, I am also linking up with Laurie's new Saturday party - A few of My Favorite Things http://bargainhuntingwithlaurie.blogspot.com/
As many of you know, one of my hobbies is miniatures (1/12 scale). These are 2 of my projects - The Vermont Jr. Farmhouse and a country General Store (store made out of a wooden wine box). When playing around with Picasa I made this collage of some photos that I already had on file. These pictures were taken a few years ago with a one time camera and are not of good quality. You can click on the collage and it will enlarge. One of the many things on my "To Do List" is to rephotograph my mini collection (I really need to get off this computer and get busy on that list!).
Be sure and visit Laurie and Cindy to see what they and the other participants have to share with us this week. Thanks Laurie and Cindy for hosting these events.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Glenda

Your blog header looks great! It was an absolutely beautiful day today, wasn't it? So nice to see the sun and feel spring in the air. I know it's temporary .. but so nice! The skies over HL look beautiful!

My office manager ( at my old job) had a sister that dealt with miniatures and brought in some of her itty bitty things. I thought that was so neat. I did not know you had miniatures, too.

I have wanted a little doll house to fix up all my life. I've never owned one. I keep looking but so far nothing has been right. It is almost like looking for a real home! :)
Well, to me it is. I best hurry. My time is running out. What a wonderful hobby. I keep wanting one to fix up for the season...silly me when I cannot even get the home I live in "fixed up" :)

Everything looks so wonderful Glenda! I've been wanting a house for so long, but our home is so small, I'll have to wait for DS #2 to move out (not that I 'm wishing for that!).

Enjoy

Glenda, your miniatures look so cute! I love that kind of thing too. I'm so sorry that my MckLinky closed. It was an accident (I got confused on the date - I'm afraid I'm getting senile!). I just reopened it, and would love for you to come link up. Thanks! laurie
