It looks pretty sad now, since it has been so hot for so long. About the only blooms I have left are some sad looking wax begonias. I usually have some pots of blooming plants that hang on until the first frost, but don't think that will happen this year.I am linking up with Mary @ "Mosaic Monday" http://dearlittleredhouse.blogspot.com/
and Susan @ "Outdoor Wednesday" http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/
Thank you Mary and Susan for hosting again this week! Be sure to drop by and visit Mary and Susan to see what they and the other participants have to share this week.
Have a great week!

Very pretty courtyard! Been hot here, too, and not only the flowers are suffering, I am looking forward to a little cooler weather!
The colors are so pretty. I think the heat made a mess for all of this year. My yard and flowers are all burning up.
Hi, very beautiful! Hope you have a wonderful new week!
Hugs...

Oh, my goodness...your courtyard looked absolutely lovely and peaceful a few months back...it will look like that again in the spring!
Up until last week, we have had the coolest summer on record since 1916...we're getting some warmer temps now and are supposed to get really hot this week!
Oh those flowers are gorgeous~
I love all the different colors!
Even up North our flowers have suffered from the heat. It's been a hot one!
HAGD,
Cindy
Love the mosaic and your courtyard, Glenda.
The heat has been brutal this summer. That's another reason why I am looking forward to Fall. I don't think I will even mind Winter this year.;-)
What pretty colors!
Love all your statues!!

I understand! My deck garden is about done in with this heat. I'm looking forward to fall and some nice vibrant colors out there! Nice Mosaic!
Just beautiful! I never got a chance to do all the flowers that I wanted to this year....now I'm glad didn't.
Glenda-Sorry that this is a thing of the past! I love your lights. EVERYTHING of mine is dead! I am out moving sprinklers right now trying to save my hydrangeas. There was no second batch of cupcakes. Charlie was the only beneficiary of my efforts!
So pretty Glenda. It's been so hard to keep anything alive in this heat! But I've loving the temps this week! I should be outside working in the yard right now - much nicer than it's been. laurie
My garden has not been has hot as your, but I too have lost many planters filled with annuals. A hard summer for everyone. Take care and have a great week.
Love that brick wall. Makes for great pics!
Glenda, Love that courtyard, beautiful color and great job working that birdcage in. Thanks for visiting and sharing some wonderful ideals.

Hi Glenda,
I've pretty much been MIA in Blogland this Summer, but I know what you mean about the heat wreaking havoc on all the pretty plants. Glad you took these in the Spring. Just beautiful!!!
Have a good one,
Mary Lou
It's really hard to keep things alive, Glenda, it's just too hot but your courtyard is so pretty....Christine
The heat has had a horrible effect on just about all plants! You have a beautiful courtyard. I can't wait to see what you do with it in the fall!
Yvonne
Hi Glenda. Your courtyard was gorgeous. I know exactly what you mean. Not only was it miserably hot here, but dry as a bone! I'm thinking I might grow cactus next year. I got a chuckle out of the poor squirrel in your previous post. Your jewelry is so pretty. Thanks for your sweet supportive comments on my blog. Your words have made me stronger. Hugs.
Oh! how beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Sue
Hi Glenda, your court yard looks so beautiful and inviting. I hope you get some cooler temperatures soon. I just came in from the front porch and it's down right "cool" out there. A brisk 60 degrees.. just Monday it was in the upper 90's. I'm loving this weather... many many hugs ~lynne~
What a GORGEOUS new banner you have, Glenda! Love your courtyard with those tiny lights, I don't use them if not at Christmas, but I've spotted them around blogland, and they are lovely! You did such a beautiful job with them.
Thanks for your note too:)
Hugs,
Monicaxo.
My flowers all died...I ready for pansies, yours look beautiful.
You have a very pretty cout yard. It is so hard to keep things flowering when the heat is turned up.We had so many blooms until about a week ago when it got really hot and now everything is suffering!
