I had planned to take my camera for a walk today and take pictures of all the beautiful azaleas in bloom, but the wind is blowing so did not think many would turn out well.
Instead, I will share what is blooming in my courtyard right now. I potted annuals Friday, and still have a few more to fill. Will go one day this next week to get more - not sure just what.
No, that is not a helicopter in the sky - The carpenter bees are back!
Last year both of the azaleas bloomed at the same time and were beautiful. This year one has no buds at all - maybe a few tiny ones, and this is all the other one did.
Left the hook on the impatiens for now, as don't know if I will end up hanging them - depends on what I get this week.
I am linking up with Mary @ "Mosaic Monday"
and Susan @ "Outdoor Wednesday"
Have a great week!

Pretty, pretty! I need to plant something with color. Thanks for the inspiration, Glenda. I guess your yard survived last week's terrible weather.

Glenda, your yard is gorgeous with all the beautiful colors. Can you send some out my way? Thanks for the inspiration; I need to get busy with some planting.
Your courtyard is very pretty. I just recently heard of carpenter bees, they must be huge.
Very pretty courtyard, your blooms are beautiful!
I've enjoyed seeing your plantings and knowing how things are going in your corner. This is the work that I can not begin until the end of May so it's very nice to see your flowers. Carpenter bees? They don't sound at all nice.
Your courtyard is so pretty, Glenda. You have it decotated so well and arranged the flowers beautifully.....Christine

There's that corner that I love! I'll hope to have flowers like that in about 2 months from now. Windy here yesterday too!
Love your courtyard...and am jealous of all your pretties ...waiting in the Northeast patiently!
Hope to see you in May at Sand and Sea Sundays!

Your courtyard is gorgeous - it reminds me of New Orleans. You seem to have a green thumb. Just lovely.
The flowers are gorgeous. We haven't bought any yet. I was afraid it was a bit early and with our Saturdays taken up with nursing home visits and the work we've been doing inside the house...we just haven't found the time to go to the nursery yet. Your photos make me want to find the time!
Your courtyard is always so pretty!
Some of our azaleas are in bloom. I love all of your photos, beautiful! We had storms roll thru here today also, but not nearly as bad as they thought, thank goodness. Glad ya'll survived.
Your courtyard is beautiful. I'll bet it holds the heat of the day so that you can sit out and be comfy in the evening at this time of year.
Love all your pretty flowers! Doesn't it make you happy! I am buying my flowers this week to plant!
Hugs,
Donna
Gorgeous Glenda...just stunning!
Your courtyard looks amazin' sweetie!!! I have to wait 'till mid May to put out annuals due to frost but that doesn't mean I don't have the fever big time!!!
