A Year Later

Picture taken Summer 2010

Pictures taken Summer 2011

As some of you may remember, about a year ago I posted pictures I took of a koi pond. Recently I saw the same pond, and noticed that it had a lot more vegetation in it this Summer. Had my camera in the car (for a change), so took a few more pictures. The fish were not as cooperative about getting their picture taken this time. Most of them stayed under the water lilies - probably due to the sun and heat.

I have not been visiting/snooping around the land of blog as much lately, as have been trying to get caught up on a few things, but nothing interesting to post about.
How about you - Got big plans for the weekend ?
What ever your plans - Have a great one !

OMG that is gorgeous Glenda!
I wonder how much time that takes to maintain.
I really think water adds so much to a property.
I am going to my hubby's 35th class reunion tonight and probably babysitting on Saturday.
Happy Weekend too,
Cindy

This looks like such a pretty place to sit and just watch.
Working like crazy this weekend in the garage, making jewelry, yard sales (well, maybe a few). Hope you enjoy your weekend.

I love all things water related. We have our tiny "water element" on the deck and I would love to have something large and pretty like this one. The water lillies really took off this year didn't they? They must love the tropical weather!

My goodness, this is a gorgeous place to visit. I think it would make your blood pressure come down just being next to it. : )
Thanks for sharing the photos with us.

beautiful post. I love water features. i do not have one as I am toooo lazy. Thanks for stopping by, My Old Historic House. I am sure I do not have a ghost. Just that this summer has been so hot and dry that the window finally became loose enough to swing open. Richard

Beautiful Glenda! An old pond on historic rte 66 in the old hometown was covered with water lilies when we were there last month. Should have stopped for pics but we were running late for lunch with my class.

That old pond was where my mother ice skated back in the old days. That was way back when 66 was two lanes. The road is so widened now there are no shoulders to pull over for pics!

Great outdoor Wednesday post!
