Fall - One of My Favorite Times of the Year

Hard to believe it is now November, and the holidays are just around the corner.  I won't be adding anymore Fall decor, so hope the pumpkin and the ornamental gourds stay nice thru Thanksgiving.  The mums - doubt they will make it that long.

Added  a couple of ornamental gourds on the table....

Since taking this picture, most of the leaves have been cleaned up and the process will be repeated many times in the near future.  Not one of my favorite things to do.

What pretty autumn decor you have put together. I like the turquoise rabbit with the orange squash! The gourds should last to Thanksgiving if they don't get wet.

I love that picture of the fall courtyard! Doesn't get any better than that!

I love your mums. I still have a pot out in the yard, but they don't look as full as yours. I know, the leaves are such a chore...over and over again, but I still love this time of year:-)

All of the pumpkins I had on the front step were taken to the trash this morning :( The squirrels love to dig them open for the seeds. Almost all of our leaves are already down and cleaned away. I feel naked! I do have one mum that is still chugging along too.

Your photos of fall are so pretty. I love the colors of fall but dislike the season. I am a summer kind of girl. Smiles,Dottie

Glenda, your garden and vignettes are beautiful. We will definitely be raking this week. As with you, it's not a favorite with us either!! ... Donna

same here, Glenda. I hate raking leaves and with so many trees here, it's a lot of work. Love your Fall decor!...Christine

Lovely decor....AND LEAVES :) I end up with some leaves from one small tree and from my bushes...and then I end up with many leaves from my neighbors tree so they keep up with it as best they can....

Such pretty photos!

The pumpkins should last a long time as long as it's not warm. I've had ones last for months! The mums not so much :)

Thank goodness we are done with the leaf raking! It's always tedious. I hope your mums last a little longer - they are so pretty.

Thanks so much for joining in this week!

Hi Glenda!

You Mums are looking good. Mine have to be replaced a few times because of the heat here in the desert.

Enjoy your weekend!

Love the picture of what looks like your courtyard. The leaves covering the ground are so pretty, though I know they are kind of a pain to get up:)

Your Fall decorations are so pretty, Glenda! I brought my sugar pumpkin indoors during our recent Nor'Easter, but the grape vine wreaths and Indian Corn are still on the doors. I'll replace them this weekend with a Fall fruit and nut garland. Happy weekend!
