Flowers for Me ?

Actually, this is a photo of some flowers I received a couple of years ago - just needed a pic for the post, you know.
Taking a break for a few minutes,   been standing on my head (well almost), cleaning out and organizing the contents under my kitchen sink.  Shame on me for letting it get that bad.  Actually I have an excuse - When my allergies flare up, I tend to get fluid in my inner ear and many times I don't know it is there until I bend over and/or tilt my head back and when I straighten up things go spinning.  Not a good feeling, and can be dangerous if I am not holding onto something.
So why did I take on that little project now?
Because of this.......
To hot to hit the streets or play outside, so thought it would be a good time to mark off at least one thing on that ever growing "L" word.
Now if I can find a good excuse why some of the other things have not been done.

A strawberry shake with whipped cream sure sounds good about now.  Nah!  To hot to go get one.
Back to sorting those half filled containers and the tool box - where did all this stuff come from anyway?!?

Just another Dab of This and That ramble.
Hope you are staying cool where you are.

I have told John that while it is so hot this summer we are going to clean out his file cabinets in his office. He's been retired three years and we still have 6 filing cabinets full of stuff - some business and some personal. So, I'm going to get me a good shredder and go after it. This heat is too bad to go in and out of. So, keep up the good work.

I've had that inner ear thing and it's no fun. Get better fast!

Sounds like a good day to tackle a project like this. I've had problems on and off for years with vertigo. Not fun and you do need to hold on.

Glenda, it is so hot here, Sophie is not even going out. She sits inside the house with her pretty little head hanging out the doggy door. It is so funny to watch, but I hate that she can't go out and play. Be careful in this heat.

Sorry about the heat, and the ear. Hope you're feeling ok. Wish I had your motivation - under my sink is a real mess!

Be careful, Glenda. That can be as dangerous as being outside in this heat. I always feel so good when I finish cleaning out something, but I'm like you, wondering where all of the stuff came from. Did I really put that stuff in there? Yikes! Have a good weekend. laurie

I get those inner ear infections too. Had one, one time when I was working...looking through a microscope all day. Oh my!!

We are to have a cool down this next week. That would be nice. We were going to the lake and then to a class party tomorrow. Neither one of us feel anything like a trip in the heat, so we are staying home...although the heat isn't anything like it was a year ago when records were being broken every day.

Guess I will go have a look under the kitchen sink.:-)

I know it's too hot to go outside!

I scurry out early in the morning to do some gardening, but like you am doing some organzing projects inside in the afternoons.

Oh that is hot, especially when you factor in that humidity.
We had some days just in the 80's last week that felt horrible because our humidity was so high.
Take it easy too with all your organizing.
And Happy 4th!
