Up Date On TheCourt Yard

April/2013
Now -  Lots of greenery, because the annuals that lost most of their blooms from the heavy rain we had a couple of times, crazy temps when Spring could not make up its mind if it wanted to stick around or not, and having to replant some begonias, there is not a big show of blooms.  They just don't want to recover like they should have.
June/2013
Think I had said I had all boston ferns this year, but then realized there are 2 kimberly queens, and 3 boston ferns.
Yes - the geranium is setting on a stack of chairs.  Reason - I move it and the pot of petunias where they get the most sun during the day, hoping they will bloom more.

Not a great job on the pictures, but was trying to avoid getting the bluish  spots caused from reflection on the lens - I notice I did not succeed on some.

Have a great week!

Glenda - Your plants look great! Mine are either suffering from too much rain and/or not enough sun! The weather can't seem to find a happy medium. Course, right now we are in almost 100 degree pattern.

Everything in your garden looks good to me. Our crazy hot and cold weather is confusing the plants too.

Your courtyard looks so pretty. We actually worked in ours a little today. It's nice to have some plants to soften things up! Enjoy your evening my friend.

Your courtyard is looking very pretty!

I usually like to get the Kimberly Ferns for the urns in front of my door. I like the way they grow more upright. But they didn't have any untill a few weeks ago. I almost thought Home Depot wasn't going to carry them this year!

I just love your courtyard :-) You know, this year I sprinkled some granulated flower food on every plant in my yard that has flowers.... even the geraniums. The plant stems & leaves are thicker and the flowers are better looking. You should give it a try, you'd be impressed with the results I'm sure!

Green is beautiful, too. I love all the ferns in your courtyard. Hopefully the sun will shine more and you'll have more blossoms.

Hi Genda. I just realised that I used to grow Boston ferns outside in the summer. They are such lovely and almost bullet proof plants, aren't they. Think I might go buy some.

Hope you have a lovely week. :)

Glenda, it all looks so pretty. I hope they didn't suffer from the storms this evening. Two of my pots that were on tables are on the ground now! I hope we don't get more tonight. laurie
