Don't know how harmless they are, but I don't think I would get close enough to find out.
Her crepe myrtle that separated down the middle. I asked her if she thought "Bill" the stray cat that adopted her family used it to get up on their roof, as they have seen him up there a few times and not sure how he got there. Hmmm......
A squirrel in my courtyard decided it was to hot to run up and down the tree, so he sprawled out on the concrete in the shade. Not a good pic, but had I opened the door it would have run off. Think the heat index was 107 or higher the day I took the picture.End of a hot Summer day, a late afternoon storm rolls in....

I wouldn't get anywhere close to that spider, lol. Thanks for sharing what's happening in your neck of the woods.
Pretty images and mosaic! The spider is a little creepy. I love the crepe myrtle. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
I think I'd be letting the spider have all the room it wanted! Pretty images. Happy Monday!
That is some spider....I really love the late after storms...we have one forming now...hoping for some rain!
I'm fascinated by spiders and their webs but by heavens I don't like them on me! Such high temps, it must be hard on the wildlife as well as pets.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Glenda.
That squirrel would bother me more than the spider! They are such pests in my yard and get on my front porch and dig in my potted plants!
Lovely outdoor captures. I hope there wasn't much damage from storm.
I try to teach myself to like spiders, the lace-makers of nature, but it doesn't always work :-)

I totally agree, stay away from any spider! It's amazing how hot it was. Our top has been about 92. Have a blessed week.
That spider looks HUGE! You grow them big down there, Glenda, and I wouldn't want to get anywhere near it :)
