I like to roam around stores that have things that are different - not just "stamped" out. Over a week ago, I went to a furniture store, that is not your average furniture store. If you are looking for something different, this would be a good place to start. Now let me say this - This place is packed to the rafters and when I stepped back to take a picture I was bumping into something else, so it was hard to photograph the whole item in one picture many times, with the camera I have. Lets take a walk.
Before we start, let me tell you that a lot of the furniture in this place is "large scale", and most was out of my price range, so did not buy anything.
Told you it was packed! :)
This bed was huge.
Need a sofa?
How about a chair. The plants in this picture are real.
View of the back.
Or this style.
Need a pillow or two?
Or are you in the market for a painted furniture?
Sorry for the blurry picture.
This clock was tall - sits on the floor.
I like this cabinet, but not the red.
This piece was very large, but could not get at the right angle to photograph the whole thing. It looked to be very heavy.
Need some dishes?
How about some faux fruit.
Hope you enjoyed the tour of the store. The place is large and lots to be seen, but I had to cut my trip short that day. I have some more pictures to share, but will save those for another post - they all have something in common. They had live cactus for sale and I was tempted to get one, but thought I better stick to the faux ones I have, since I can't kill those.
Have enjoyed milder temps. lately, but that is coming to an end - this next week we return to Winter. :(
Hope everyone has a great week.
Glenda

Boy, you weren't kidding. This place is really stuffed. Just unreal. I see a lot of gorgeous eye candy. Thanks for the tour. Hugs, Marty
What an exciting shop! It reminds me most of the best Troc shop in our area, which sells good-quality second hand and antique furniture, displayed in just that crowded but stylish way. They don't have any real plants, though, as the interior would be far too dark. Thanks for that exciting tour!
Looks like my kind of place, Glenda!
I could spend hours there (and my bank account)!
It's BIG !!! and brim filled of things. Even too much. Aren't they distracting each other? have a nice day Rosanna
What a fun shop! I would get lost in there for hours, browsing. I never responded to your question. No, I have never been published. I have tried on and off for years wtihout success. I have my grandfather's oral history that I want to turn into a novel. He rode the rails, etc. during the
1930s. Very exciting stuff.
What a fantastic store. I would be broke. Thanks so much for the tour. I checked out some more on Between Naps.
Glenda, I think I need to know where this store is! You showed some great pieces in your post. I sure don't want that cold weather back, but guess I don't have any choice. laurie
Oh, those pieces of furniture look HUGE. My favorites are the Bombay-looking chest with the black and white domino effect on the edges and the next photo of the floor clock.
Thanks for the peek.
What a huge store!
How did you know where to look?
Do you go there often?

Glenda- Is this the place next to Duffin Dollar? I have been in but did not see that much!!!!! I did see some pretty mirrors at a good price. I may have to go back. Settle in and get warm...it's getting colder :)
How fun is this place? I love the painted furniture...and the dishes, wow!

What a fun place to poke around! I love the three candlesticks on the table...that would have been tempting! I like virtual shopping...I can enjoy and can't spend! LOL
Love your blog really beautiful.
Hi Glenda. Thanks for stopping by....My sister sells Party Lite...we all agree that the holders are a bit overpriced...now they run specials...I just always buy tealights...I got a great holder for 99 cents from the thrift store. The candles are pretty awesome though.
LOVE all these pictures!!!!
