Met Monday

It has been some time since I joined in Metamorphosis Monday hosted by Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ . So thought I would join in this week.
I guess you could call this a Metamorphosis - the dining table's many looks for 2009. The photos are different sizes, as I just C&P them from what was already in PB. Actually it starts with Fall of 2008, when I first started blogging.

Christmas 2008. Did have a better picture of the center, but I think it is one of those that got deleted by accident.

Be sure and visit Susan to see what she and the other participants have to share this week.
Just took this picture of "Weather Bug" a little bit ago - DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE FOR WED. NIGHT - THURS. NIGHT ! !

I have one thing to say - If anyone around here even thinks they will need a loaf of bread and milk by Wed. night - do yourself a favor and go to the store before Wednesday!! :-D People that live in areas that are use to dealing with snow and ice are probably thinking - What is she talking about! ?!? Trust me on this one! :-D
Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season and hope we all have a wonderful New Year!
Have a great week!
Glenda

Glenda that was a fun look back! I love the little birds and I'm happy they are still around. I like how the mirror looks on a table, I may have to look for one. Not sure where you live, but I live in Georgia and I know what you mean about bread and milk. Everyone goes crazy with the least little hint of bad weather. Take care and keep warm.

Beautiful post, Glenda!

KC had snow again! The sun is shining here and it's 11 degrees. I just checked my e-mail at my high school class of 61 group. One of the girls lives in SW Missouri. It's been snowing there all day. The streets are packed and some of the churches have cancelled services for tonight. So, with that said...it will probably travel right across southern MO and into Arkansas and be in Memphis by mid week. Now I need to go have a look at weatherbug for NE Missouri!:-)

Pat@Back Porch Musings said...

Yep! I just had a look at that little ol' weatherbug and our forecast is the same as yours!! Our chance is 60% for Wednesday.

We're taking Miss Gabi home tomorrow...maybe we better stop for milk and bread, before returning to the country.;-)

Oh yes -- we sometimes say we're pretty sure that the grocery stores here bribe the weather people to predict snow, just so everybody will rush out for their milk and bread! It must keep their profits up!

Glenda,
Beautiful center pieces. I would be hard pressed to have a fav, but I do love looking at the pictures and seeing that white bird cage sitting there. Trust me, I have had enough of the cold and snow to last me for a very long time. School here has already been delayed by two hours for tomorrow,
going to be a hot one here in the moring a big 7. Great to be back and talking to everyone. Talk soon.

Hi there Glenda - Love the look at all your tablescape centerpieces - that is one of my New Year's Resolutions this year - more tablescapes!

Thanks for visiting my laundry room re-do - I wanted to let you know - I only have a space behind two doors also and had to plan for every bit of workable area and still make it look good for me - just thought I'd pass that along!

Happy New Year!

Glenda, all of your table decorations are so pretty. I enjoyed seeing them. They are predicting snow! I know just what you're talking about. If we get snow, we'll be stuck, unlike those who live in places with the equipment to clear the roads. I just hope we don't go without power for 10 days like we did last year! Stay warm, and have a wonderful new year! laurie

Hi Glenda! Thanks for sharing all of these gorgeous pictures! It's still snowing here, and has been for the past 2 days. We've had more than a foot of accumulation, and the weather doesn't project any stops anytime soon. NOT FUN! :( Makes trips to the blogs that much more fun though! :) Thanks for sharing and inspiring, Artie.

LOL! We're expecting snow on Thursday so you know the bread and milk people will be at the store on Wed. I'll be sure to go today! What do they do with the bread and milk anyway? Never could figure that out.

Your table centerpieces are always so pretty. I really like how you have it arranged now!

Have a good week!

I see you love Glads...me too. I never get to have them, but they always make me smile.

Do we ever get used to snow? We have it coming on Thursday and Friday, and I hate it (although it is pretty).
