Cloche Party

It is time for Marty's "Christmas Cloche Party".
I have to admit, I have really slacked in decorating for Christmas this year. Yes, the tree is up and decorated (trying to get a decent picture), and decorated a few other areas around, but not as much as I use to do. Last year I really cut back as I was dealing with a leg and back issue, and when it came time to decorate this year I decided to not do as much again.
I already had the cross hanging on this cloche, so decided to leave it as is during the holidays.
My wire cloche with a bird on top got a bit of holiday cheer. I love this cloche - I won it in a giveaway from Laurie this last Summer. Thank you again Laurie. :)

Not a cloche, but is my centerpiece for now - red light bulbs in a candy dish.

I took this picture when I still had my Fall decor out, but decided to use it anyway. I was going thru/sorting some of my minis when I ran across this one. Yep! A miniature cloche/cheese dome.

Compared to a quarter.
My 2 large cloches still have Spring/Summer decor in them. Maybe after seeing everyone's beautiful creations, I will get motivated and change them out for the Winter months.
Thanks Marty @ http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com .
Thanks Laurie @ "A Few of My Favorite Things Saturday"

Hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season and staying warm !

Oh, I love that cute little one! I decorate less than I used to but I still think it is more than many. I used to go crazy, but now we don't have Christmas here...so, what's the point?

Hey, Gle4nda, I love your mini cloche. It took me a minute to realize the scale of it until I noticed the quarter next to it. So cute. You know, I didn't even do a tree last year. Hudson had just been born, and my mother was down on her back. Sometimes life gets too busy to do too much decorating. Take care, and most of all, enjoy the holidays.

I have several cloches in my house, I love um cause it keeps dust off my treasures! And I'm lazy and don't dust much! lol! But that tiny one is so cute! No Christmas decor around here this year! House torn up for new floors, not need for some pretty Christmas when the house looks awful!

Hi Glenda,
we all need simplicity, don't we.
I visited earlier in the day but couldn't leave a comment then. Thank you for taking the time to say hello!

Your cloches look wonderful! that tiny little one is just too adorable! I know what you mean about not feeling real motivated this year. My problem is I just have so many other things going on right now. But, I am forcing myself to let go of some of those things and do some decorating here and there. Having a 3 year old helps. LOL

Hi Glenda!! Oh girlfriend it was so great to hear from an old friend (As in going way back...not that you're old *winks*) I've been battling with family health issues and I have little energy as well. But you're way ahead of me! I love the red bulbs displayed in the candy dish on the table! What a great idea! And that mini cheese cloche is just the cutest thing I've ever seen!! Could I also ask did you make the nut topiary in your blog header pic? I'm really lovin' that too!
I really need to buy myself some more cloches so I can party with ya! As is I'd only be good for half a party *winks* Love Vanna

I love them all especially the tiny one; I've never seen one that small before. You did a wonderful job with displaying them.
We're having everyone over for Christmas, but I still didn't do much decorating. Just too many other things going on.

I think what you've decorated is quite lovely. Some years I feel like going all out. Some I don't. I just go with the flow!
