It is Cold Out There!

It is NOT warm here !! "They" said the high today was 39 - felt colder, and low tonight 22 !?!?! :(
The thought of getting out in the cold to shop for Christmas makes me cringe ! So What did I do instead? Stayed in, made a pot of soup, played on the computer, and other important things like that. :D

Cards have been addressed and mailed - Yay! I really like the cards I sent out this year . They had a nice greeting inside, then I added my own note/message. Yes - That is GLITTER on the front and I now have glitter all over my table, place mats, etc., etc.. Is it not amazing how a "Little Glitter Goes a Long Way" ! ! ! I bet the post office workers sparkle this time of the year !!!!
Not only do I like the cards, but I got them last year at an after holiday sale - half price $4.50 a box. Makes me happy !

Hope the weather is a little more friendly in your spot of the world, but from what I have seen on the news many are already dealing with snow and ice.
Stay warm!

It really is soooo cold Glenda! The sun is deceiving. I keep having to go back inside for my coat, because the sunshine makes me think it is warmer than it is. Your Christmas cards are so pretty, and you know I love a bargain! Try to stay warm. laurie

That was a good buy! I am so jealous - haven't done my cards yet, and this is quite late for me!

We actually saw the sun today for a few minutes...first time in a week! When I got up this morning the wind chill was 5...ugh.

I have my cards...bought mine last year too, but I just can't get in the mood to send them this year. I usually have them in the mail on Dec. 1.

Maybe that's why I haven't opened my glitter yet... Cause I'm really messy.

Very cold here as well, a big ole 21 today! Snow on the ground, doesn't make me happy at all! Soup sounds really good! I love your centerpiece with the nuts, a very unique ideal! You also had some wonderful after Christmas sale goodies. I always love red! Thanks for visiting. Have a blessed week!

Wow, you're way ahead of me on the cards, haven't even bought them yet. I'm right along side of you with the soup. I made up a huge pot last week and froze enough for about 12 servings. Yummy, it looks good.
Stay warm and cozy.

Although we had a bright sunny day yesterday the thermometer refused to hit 20 degrees. Time to acclimate, I guess.
Beautiful job on the cards.

Pretty centerpiece. Like you, I purchased Christmas cards after the holidays last year. But you're ahead of me. I have to get mine ready this week. Happy Holidays!

Soup looks awesome and a deal on cards is great. At the price of stamps, I had to buy dollar store cards this year to afford the stamps!!
