Wednesday is time for "Outdoor Wednesday" hosted by Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/. Thank you Susan for once again hosting this weekly event. Thought I would share some pictures I took at a local arts and craft fair a week ago last Friday. I had forgotten about it being that particular weekend and spotted it on my way back from another place. Most of the pictures I took that day were not very good - think I broke a record that particular day for taking "bad" pictures. Many were blurred, at an angle, etc., so ended up doing a lot of deleting.
Many extremely talented artists there selling their beautiful creations made from wood, pottery, handmade jewelry, quilting, tatting - I could go on and on.
Lots of places to buy something to eat.
Yep ! You read that right ! :-D
One long tent in particular got my attention - the "Culinary" tent. :) After sampling some soups and dips , I made a few purchases there - 3 different flavored pastas, 2 different dip mixes, and a bean soup mix that I am really anxious to try. The only problem with that is, it makes a gallon of soup, so need to make it when having company or be prepared to freeze some. Package says add ham, but the person handing out samples said you could add canned chicken (bet rotisserie chicken would be good), or smoked sausage. Will let you know how they all turn out.
When I left the house, I did not know I would be going and did not have on appropriate shoes - big mistake!!!
Anyway, that is my contribution to "Outdoor Wednesday". Please visit Susan and the other participants to see what they have to share this week.
Hope you are having a great week!

Hi Glenda! I'm still around! I saw that booth! That was so cool! There were a lot of nice creations but the price tags were too high for me! I'm ready for another outing so just say the word! God Bless! Lauralu :)

But i have to say the Road kill grill cracked me up... I am not sure I couldve eaten anything from it but sure is a clever name. Even if its a bit scarey to think about. :)

My DH and I attended a pumpkin festival on Saturday. Not so many crafts, but everything under the sun was deep fried including oreos and pickles.
Wish I could have been with you to this craft place. I love going to them. This one looks like a big nice one. I think you did well on your pictures.
I am sure glad I am not the only one who sets records for blurred pictures! LOL
These turned out great though and the jewelry was gorgeous!

Hi Glenda! How adventurous of you to stop without a plan to and without comfy shoes!! A true adventurer :0)
Can't get over that Roadkill Grill...LOL
Looks like an enjoyable way to spend a few hours, Glenda! I enjoy browsing craft fairs and seeing all the imagination that crafters have. I like bean soup so I would have probably purchased that package too.
The "roadkill" van made me laugh! That is a good way to get attention.
:-D

Your photos of the craft fair are wonderful. I especially enjoyed the photo of the Road Kill Grill. We had a cafe here with that name. It went out of business a few years ago. I hope your traveling version fares better. Have a great day.
