Can't believe it is time again for "Outdoor Wednesday" hosted by Susan @ A Southern Daydreamer http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ . Thanks Susan for hosting this weekly event. Due to all the rain we have had, I have not been able to do much picture taking outside lately. This is the 3rd day in a roll, that we have actually had sunshine and a clear blue sky, but where I have been the last couple of days the beautiful Fall colors were just not there. On one of the many rainy days that we have had, I went thru some CD's of pictures I had taken this time last year, so thought I would share some of them with you. The first one, is of one of over 20 of the famous Germantown Horses that were on display at different locations last Summer, then auctioned off in October, 2008. Many of them are still on display around the city. Being October, I thought this would be a good time to post this pink lady's photo ( love her pink tennis shoes). :-) There is a website that gives detailed information about the horse, the artist who decorated the horse, its name, etc., but I am having problems locating the site. When I do locate it, I will add that info. I had it bookmarked on my computer that took a nose dive several months ago. Isn't she a beauty - I think she is my favorite.
Taken at the local Farmers' Market.
Hope you have enjoyed my contribution to "Outdoor Wednesday". If you have not already, visit Susan to see what she and the other participants have to share.
Hope you are having a great week.

I love it when cities have artists decorate a sculpture. Milwaukee did Beasties one year, and I have see cows and cars in other cities. I even bought a sculpture to decorate some year - See this blog for my horse!

What a Pink Beauty!!! Are you in the Memphis area? If this Pretty Lady decked out in Pink represents the others, it must have been a beautiful sight.
Georgetown is a great place to visit. We had a son living close by while attending Southern Univeristy of Optometry and we would visit often.
The Fall Pumpkin show is delightful:)
